I am a doctor of Dominican origin based in the Netherlands. I am specialized in medicine for the elderly.

I am the author of the book on dementia: Why does granny forget things? A trip to the brain. This project comes straight from my heart in response to my mother's cognitive problems and how they affected my little niece. Therefore, the goal is to help my little nephew, niece and all the children of the world in a fun way to understand the neurological problems that affect the memory of some grandparents.

The story is richly illustrated by Gustavo Desimone and is complemented by an educational guide for parents and guardians, where dementia is defined in a more formal and professional way and its impact worldwide.
